Ingredients

  • 230g dark chocolate
  • 175g melted margarine
  • 355g of Skor Cevital white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 65g cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Cut the chocolate into pieces. Melt half, and reserve the other half for later.
  3. Combine the margarine and sugar, then beat the eggs and vanilla for 1-2 minutes, until the mixture becomes thick and light in color.
  4. Whisk reserved melted chocolate. Make sure the chocolate is not too hot or the eggs will cook. Then add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the liquid ingredients. Be careful not to overmix, as this will give a texture closer to the cake than the brownie.
  6. Add the chocolate pieces, then transfer the dough to a square dish covered with baking paper.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on your desired doneness for your brownie, then let cool completely.
  8. Cut, and serve with a good glass of fresh milk!
